Determinants of Perceived Performance during Telework: Evidence from Romania

This article confronts telework issues by analyzing how certain factors (motivation, dependence on coordination, self-organizing abilities and stress) impact job performance, as well some of their interrelations. The research has been carried out with 219 Romanian employees. With the help Confirmatory Factor Analysis Structural Equations Modeling, model led to following conclusions: employee motivation a significant positive performance; employees’ coordination negative moderately intense but correlation level stress perceived during teleworking; ability self-organize activity is strongly significantly linked perceived. hypothesis that performance not confirmed. These results add specialized literature can be basis for future developments managerial teleworking strategies. implications are particularly valuable in context Corporate Social Responsibility considering employees, organizations, society general.
